COURSE OVERVIEW

The Basic Elements of Creative Design course introduces the fundamental principles and techniques used in Fashion Design. This course is for you if you have a love for fashion and have a strong creative flair. You will learn how to draw, create storyboards and discover the elements of design when creating clothes. With attention to silhouette, proportion, line and detail, this short course offers you to learn and practice the fundamentals in fashion illustration and presentation. Upon completion of the short course, you will be able to conceptualize and design basic contemporary womenswear garments.

With Saturday classes, this fashion short course offers you convenience if you are currently working or still at school.

Classes are from 9am to 3pm at Randburg, Johannesburg and Hatfield, Pretoria campus. 

The minimum requirement to enter into the Creative Design Short Course is the minimum age of 16.
